After
Paul Poiret's extremely successful albums, it is the House of
Paquin's turn to commission the era's very best artists to feature
the latest fashion designs and accessories. This beautiful album,
showing 3 designs for fans and
3 for fur coats, contains 7 full-page illustrations, colored in
pochoir. The title page, furthermore, features a black and white
vignette by Lepape and there are remarques throughout. This copy,
one of only 300 published, with a small anonymous sketch, tipped
onto first page.
Light
offsetting, not affecting any images, and some wear to the tissue
guards; overall a beautiful copy.
