Original lithograph, printed in two colors, from the portfolio "Flight", commissioned by the International Rescue Committee in the 1960's to commemorate its history and raise funds for its good works.

Work began in 1966, when Vairan Fry (the Committee head) enlisted the help of the Associated American Artists Gallery, and was completed in 1971, with Calder's contribution.

Printed on Arches paper.
