Felix
Massoul (1872 - 1942)

Trained
as a painter, he started as a potter in 1900 and attended the Ecole des
Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
He worked at the Maisons-Alfort, working with his wife in experimenting
with enamels and metallic glazes on earthenware.
In 1930, while working for Sevres, he made red-glazed pieces influenced
by Hispano-Moresque pottery.
