Felix Massoul (1872 - 1942)

Trained as a painter, he started as a potter in 1900 and attended the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.

He worked at the Maisons-Alfort, working with his wife in experimenting with enamels and metallic glazes on earthenware.

In 1930, while working for Sevres, he made red-glazed pieces influenced by Hispano-Moresque pottery.
