This first edition of Fardoulis-Lagrange's narrative is illustrated by the surrealist architect and painter Matta with ten original color engravings on copper. This copy, moreover, features a full color suite of the engravings, printed on Auvergne paper.

In addition to being signed by both the author and the artist on the justification page, this copy is dedicated in colored pencil on the half-title by Matta to the binder Paul Bonet. Overall in very good condition.
