Complete set of this important periodical, founded in 1912 by Pierre Corrard in order to document the evolution of fashion through the years as seen and interpreted by the by the foremost illustrators of the time. Each issue features twelve exquisite pochoir-colored plates, some highlighted in gold and silver, and texts by various literary figures of the time. This set is overall in very good condition; plates clean, colors fresh and vibrant.

Seven volumes covering ten years of fashion illustration in the early part of this century. Among the scenes of post-War French life depicted are the singing of the "Marseillaise" at a theatre, bargain day in a department store, a family in mourning which watches a military parade from a balcony, and "listening to Satie."Limited to 300 copies.
