Little is known about this prolific graphic artist who was active in Paris
from about 1900-1925. His mastery of decorative design and coloration
is evident in the beautiful pochoir portfolios he created. Unusual in
his capacity to span the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods, Seguy's albums
remain exquisite examples of ornamentation and composition.
Titles include "Les fleurs et leurs applications decoratives,"
1900; "Compositions dans le gout oriental" ca 1914; "Samarkande,"
1914; "Floreal," 1920; "Suggestions," 1930; "Papillons"
and its companion volume "Insectes," 1924.
