Mitzi (Marie) Uchatius, born in Vienna in 1882, studied under
Otto Czeschka and became an engraver of renown, particularly recognized
for her renditions of animals. This small self - published album
(possibly class work) showcases her talent, featuring six woodcuts
in the Viennese Secessionist style, depicting a sheep, a bear,
a horse, a dog, a fox and deer. Each print is signed in pencil.
In very nice condition.
